Won't You Help?

The Sarah Woode Foundation has provided direct financial support to scholars seeking degrees in Math and Science for over thirteen years. Hundreds of students have been able to study who might not otherwise and while politicians have talked about building a stronger nation with young scientists and engineers Sarah Woode is actually doing something!

Qualifications

Every year since 1993 the Sarah Woode Foundation has sponsored between ten and twenty students. Funds are used for tuition or books. Sarah Woode Scholars go through a rigorous screening-process involving face-to-face meetings with and without parents. Their grades are reviewed as well as their personal character. Sarah Woode wants good citizens who will achieve much and give back to the community.

Free Money but Not For Free

Selected students must meet and keep a high level of academic excellence and those who fall below 85 will lose their scholarship for a year. Grades are reviewed at the end of every semester by the Sarah Woode Board of Trustees and students who fall below a B+, or fail critical classes like math, physics, chemistry, or biology will lose their scholarship. The Sarah Woode scholarship is free money but not for free. Students must have an innate self-determination. They must work hard.
